Hayley Brownell is a 24 year old musician based in the Los Angeles area and for 15 of those years she has been playing drums. At a very young age Hayley began playing in a youth percussion group, We Got The Beat, in the city of Fresno. Through this group she was able to meet and play alongside Pete Escovedo at the NAMM show, study with Jerry Steinholtz for many years and play at various Day of Percussion events up and down California.
Hayley received her degree in music at California State University Northridge on drum set in May 2015. Post school, Hayley has had the pleasure of playing and recording for multiple artist in the LA area such as, Daya, Doe Paoro, Pretty Sister, Gracie Gray, Ruby-Throated, Exsage, Leah Capelle, James Bennett and many more. She also has played shows all over the U.S. with Daya, Pretty Sister, Exsage and Leah Capelle. Over the years Hayley has also discovered her love for singing, guitar, and songwriting in which she is working on her solo EP, Hole Water. She currently is consistently playing for Doe Paoro, Leah Capelle, Exsage and her own band, Ruby-Throated.
